A unique opportunity has presented itself for us to experience a special time of prayer with an international leader of Reconciliation, Matteo Calisi of United in Christ from Bari, Italy.  Matteo is a key leader among Catholics who speaks directly to the need for unity within our cities between various Christian denominations, but especially between Catholics and Evangelicals, to work together in order to see the fullness of God’s blessings in our city.  His travels around the world leading the 150 million member Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities and Fellowships for 3 terms of office has given opportunity to engage & dialogue with city leaders worldwide about this need and share how God is moving in this season in the Body of Christ for the fulfillment of John 17:21. Through these efforts he has seen many doors open, especially in South America and Italy, for joint times of worship, prayer and repentance that changes the atmosphere over cities.

I am interested in hearing from Mr Calisi because of something “fresh and new” in the area of prayer, reconciliation and city transformation that seems to be stirring in the hearts of God’s people. We want to not only find out more, but join the effort with our prayers and with our participation.  I know this invitation has come to you with just a few days for you to respond, but given the speaker and timing in our city, I feel it is an important opportunity to offer. Please pray about your participation and bring a friend !!

Could Dallas be next? Join us this coming Saturday, August 15th at 3 pm at Mt. St. Michael’s, address below, for a time of prayer, worship and sharing of this new move of the Holy Spirit.

Find directions to the campus at www.godsdelight.org

*This Canopy of Prayer Meeting will NOT be in the school building where the gym and CCGD prayer meeting are located!  Park in the same lot (first right off the traffic circle) and walk back into the traffic circle and take an immediate right.  The door we will be using to Our Lady of Charity Center (or the Green Room, if you know the campus) will be right in front of you, to the right of the main convent door at the front of the circle.  Saturday you will need to park to the left instead due to other activities on campus.

Hope to pray with you then !
