Father Ed Wade CC

The message for the times: Unity

On May 16, 2013 I will be celebrating forty one years as a Roman Catholic Priest. I have never looked back and questioned the call or my response of “yes” to the invitation.

Ordained a Roman Catholic Priest In1972 for the diocese of Camden, New Jersey, Father Ed Wade served as a parish priest for eight years.  Released by his bishop to work full-time in evangelization; Father Ed traveled throughout the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom,  Ireland, Austria and Yugoslavia focusing on receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing and unity.

He was one of original founders of the “Fraternity of Priests”, an international renewal movement for priests stationed at The Franciscan University of Steubenville.  At the University Father Ed was often a guest speaker at youth, healing, and charismatic conferences.

Father Ed was then invited to Belfast, North Ireland to be part of an ecumenical covenant community (The Community Of The King) seeking to witness to unity among Christians in the midst of violence and terror.

After this, Father Ed spent close to three years in the diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina developing ecumenical ties with other Christian leaders.  Their emphasis was to break down the dividing walls of division in Christendom and to make John 17:21-23 a reality.

He is presently residing in Houston, Texas continuing in the ministry of seeking reconciliation and unity in the church.
